Jacobsbaai, West CoastThe raw earthyness of the West Coast. Seagulls, fynbos, a cool sea breeze. These long-time lovers finally tied the knot on the beach with the waves rolling in behind them. Not even the cool, breezy weather could take anything away from their big day – a pure celebration of love. The dramatic song choices worked beautifully with the location and the weather. The Range, TokaiRomance was in the air in Tokai forest when Neil took his bride Carolyn for their photo session. The divine looking bride only had eyes for her handsome hubby as they walked among the tall trees and celebrated their love. Carolyn took care of all the flowers and decor herself, giving the finest attention to every detail. The romantic ceremony in the old stone chapel was followed by a cosy reception with great food, good company and laughs all round. Basse Province, FranschoekAfter 3 years of capturing weddings, I still enjoy every minute of it. But when you are requested to film an extra ordinary wedding like Kim and Sean’s, it is a bonus! Coming all the way from Durban to celebrate their love in the Cape Winelands, Kim and Sean decided to only invite those closest to them. In a ceremony and reception bringing Marie Antoinette and french abundance, style and sophistication to mind, the couple stood in the relentless wind and promised to love each other for ever! Not even a power failure could dampen their spirits! I loved their song choices as it enabled me to do something totally different with the editing, which is why I uploaded so much of their footage!
